    Norway

Well, I made it back from Norway. It took me a few extra hours as we sat on the runway in Detroit for 2.5 hours waiting for weather to clear (that was after waiting in the terminal for 2 hours before we got on the plane!). So after 24 hours of flying, I finally made it home to Woodinville about 3am.

I had a great trip! The weather was stunningly beautiful, my hosts were all amazing! I got to see Oslo and the Eastern Norwegian countryside. Everything with the wedding was perfect--the whole reason for the trip. Fredrik and Solveig had a beautiful ceremony and reception (from what people told me, the speeches were also quite moving and funny...alas i just drank wine and smiled while Norwegian and Danish flew around the table).

I really appreciated the relaxing time we spent at the Skarderud house in Skarnes. It was great to kick back, relax and enjoy good food and company--and world cup soccer on prime time tv! I lost a lot at Croquet, but a good time was had nonetheless.

MSN Spaces has adepted to changing times and is now compatible with Internet Explorer 7, so I have been able to post captioned pictures to an album on the site.

    Enjoy!

    no photos for awhile

apparently the Microsoft "Silo" issue has reared its ugly head. It has been a long standing issue for the company that different parts of the busines run independently and don't talk to other product groups. Well, I've finally been burned by it.

I have upgraded to Interenet Explorer 7 (Beta). It has a lot of great new features, and is very stable for a Beta. No complaints from me on the product. However, apparently by upgrading to Beta, I can no longer do anything with my photo sections of my MSN Space (this site). It requires IE6 and won't work with IE7.

So I can't do anything with them until MSN Spaces catches up and starts working with IE7. I hope it is soon as my group at work manages the IE7 website and I believe we have over 5 million people around the world using IE7 now.

    such is life I guess.
