so i previously reported that Abi accepted a position as an Assistant Bookkeeper for Goldfinch Brothers, inc. well, she has been there a few weeks now and loves it. she gets to play with numbers all day long, help design the office, and interact with people again. She has been doing Accounts Payable work and now is learning some Accounts Receivable as well. we will see how tax season treats her!

 

I've got a new job as well--sort of. I'm expanding/transitioning my role on Microsoft.com from Production Management to focus more on Online Product Management for the Office Product Information site. this will give me a great opportunity to try something new, get a whole bunch of new skills, and see what i like to do. It will be a slow transitions and so for a while it will seem like i have 2 full time jobs, but oh well, such is life if you want to move up in the world.

 

My cousin Ryan has recently moved in with us while he completes 7 months of traing at SeaCast in Marysville. SeaCast is bringing him on to do something engineering-y at the new Foundry they are building in Butte, MT, where he normally lives.

 

so lots of of new jobs and excitement in our house!
